Thousands of participants from parishes in Kano trooped to Saint Charles’ SMA Catholic Church, Nomansland Kano, in the evenings of Monday 28th October to Friday 1st December 2024 and also Saturday 2nd December morning (for youths) and evening for a Dinner Party to attend the seminar organized by Rev. Fr. Anthony Agbovi SMA with the cooperation of his Associate Priest, Fr. George Susaimanickam William and a team of selected parishioners.
The dynamic seminar on healthy Family Life, with particular attention to parenting and growing up as a young person in the 21st Century family environment discussed topics such as sexual abuse, loveless marriage experience, health issues in marriage and among young people. Special attention was given to the question of inheritance.
The time of the seminar was shared between group work in designated halls with professionals in the areas counselling, medicine, social work and civil law. This was followed by a plenary session for questions and answers in the main Church. Each day finished with a prayer session animated by Fr. Agbovi, SMA.
